Bourgie unites classicism, wealth and tradition with technological innovation. The baroque-style base consists of three decorated elements that interlock, while the large shade is created with a pleated effect which creates a multitude of reflections when lit. Thanks to a special system used to hang the shade, three different heights can be obtained, altering them to suit personal preference, depending on the use to be made of the lamp: 68, 73 and 78 centimetres.

The Masters chair is a clear tribute to three symbol-chairs, reworked and reinterpreted by Starck’s creative genius. The unmistakable silhouettes of Arne Jacobsen’s “Serie 7”, Eero Saarinen’s “Tulip Armchair” and Charles Eames’ “Eiffel Chair” entwine in a sinuous hybrid, creating a fusion of original and attractive styles. Today’s Componibili are 32 cm in diameter and come in three sparkling metallic finishes. This model is available in two fixed compositions of two or three non-stackable elements.

FL/Y - Suspension Lamp

FL/Y is an essentially-styled suspension lamp. The particular transparency of the material and the sheen of the colours recreate the idea of a soap bubble, shimmering iridiscently in the light. The shade is not perfectly hemispherical, with the cut-off falling just below the level of the diameter, offering greater concentration of the light. The lamp is available in three different sizes: Fl/Y (diameter 52cm, shade depth 33cm), Small Fl/Y (diameter 38cm, shade depth 28cm) and Big Fl/Y (diameter 83cm, shade depth 55cm).

TEA is an abstract shape, an object of almost artisan imprinting that seems to represent two hands holding a light between their palms and letting out only irregular beams that create a chiaroscuro effect, as if projecting shadows on to the wall. Particularly innovative is the irregular, porous feel chosen for the extremely natural finish, almost like that of terracotta or ceramic biscuit. A range of basic colours also helps us understand that objects of exceptional quality and great poetry can be created even from recycled materials.
